I started at Longsands in September 1965, the teachers I remember were as follows.

French= Mrs Wilson
English= Miss Flowerdue
Music =Mr ( Fred ) Frahen
Sport= Mr ( Ivor ) Hunter Mr Fordham ( Still plays Golf at St Neots G.C. )
Woodwork= Mr Lyons
Metalwork=Mr Wheelwright
Art= Miss Coughlan Mr Terry
Geography=Mr Harris
I was in Moore House and our year spelt W.I.S.D.O.M and my Form Room was the Old Library. ( Yep I was in 1W )
My Sister Jean went to the School on its 1st day and virtually all the above named were there then.
